I haven't posted in TWO weeks. And since I have a whopping 9(count 'em, NINE) followers, I feel obligated to take up 15 minutes of your guys's time reading the thoughts of a skinny asian kid. How's that for a great mental picture?
I think I want to do something less preachy this time. More about random crap than random crap I think you should do. And nothing close to that embarrassing skittles post I did like a month ago. Please don't remind me about that one.
So, I spent this morning watching Pokemon game "Let's Plays" on Youtube. Explanation: Nerdy guy with a microphone and a camera who plays through a Pokemon game while talking about it. And it goes on Youtube and gets tens of thousands of views. I know, what's wrong with the world today?
But it has its appeal. The part of me inside(that I haven't quite killed yet) who loves video games jumps at the chance of reliving the glory days of leaning my head over that small Game Boy Advance screen while pretending to take an unusually long crap. Oh, and back then my brother and I used to talk. Good times.
I think everyone liked Pokemon. A brand new world, where all your problems are solved by colorful monsters, and everything turns out fine? Sign me up! I guess, in essence, video games are just another escape from reality. Kind of like music. Or hobbies. Or the internet.
What do video games have to do with anything? What should we do about this inborn need to avoid the harshness of real life? I don't know! I'm not preaching about anything this post, remember? And on that unsatisfying note I will wrap up this post. Have a fun-filled weekend, and don't die~
Isn't this a great blog? Tell a friend.
